Stood up Global Climate Tech Fund in Singapore
The most significant event that happened during my time with Investible was the creation of a Singapore-based fund. This process involved a whole lot of operational due diligence exercises internally that were invaluable in shaping how I look at businesses, as well as understanding how to operate effectively in Southeast Asia and Sydney simultaneously.
Launched an Investor Newsletter
In my second month at Investible, we realised a need to keep our investors informed more frequently so we launched a specific investor newsletter "At Scale" with insights from our investment team, an overview on the market, and ways to connect with our portfolio companies.
Created a founder meetup series
One of the magical parts of having a thematic fund is the ability for founders to find a community inside it. We tried to amplify these touchpoints with regular monthly founder meetups in different locations, culminating in a big Investible event at Cicada Innovations with most of our Aus-based LP's and Syd-based founders.
Built Greenhouse pre-launch
My third day at Investible was the first ever branding workshop for Greenhouse. From that point onward, I helped facilitate the launch of Greenhouse while wearing my Investible shirt and liaised between the two initial launch teams before moving over completely to Greenhouse in July of 2023.
So what'd I get up to at a VC?
I joined Investible's marketing team in 2022, working in tandem on building Greenhouse (then in stealth mode), fostering investor engagement across Singapore and Sydney, and working with founders to help them increase traction and remove roadblocks.
